GAUSS Srl is looking for an Aerospace mechanical/system Engineer to add to its workforce in Rome, Italy.
The candidate shall be graduated in Aerospace Engineering (master’s degree).
Minimum work experience: 2 years
Main tasks: Design, development, integration and testing of subsystems for aerospace systems.
Essential criteria:
- Passionate about space exploration and innovative technologies;
- Design tools: Solidworks, FEM analysis softwares, MATLAB, LabView;
- Systems requirements definition and analysis;
- Complex mechanical system design from concept to production : CAD design, components selection, Satellite/aerospace constructions materials and technologies, static and dynamic thermos/mechanical verification, production documentation;
- Prototyping of systems (mechanical, electrical/electronical) and test capabilities;
- Use of basic mechanics/electronics lab tools;
- English (minimum B2).
Desirable (extra) criteria:
- Experience with CFD (subsonic/supersonic) Analyses;
- Basics of RF telecommunications;
- Basics of rocket propulsion;
- Experience with Microsatellites systems;
- Knowledge of clean room and ESD safety procedures.
