The 4th edition of the IAA Conference on Dynamics and Control of Space Systems (DyCoSS 2018) takes place on 21-23 May 2018 and is held in Changsha, China.
Organized by the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) and the Chinese National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) and sponsored by the American Astronautical Society (AAS) and Hunan Society of Astronautics.
The prestigious biennial event of the Space community deals with several aerospace topics: Satellite constellations and formation flying, Spacecraft guidance, navigation and control, Attitude dynamics and control, Space mission design and optimization, Orbital dynamics and orbital determination, Space structures of tethers, Attitude sensors and actuators, Optimal control in space flight dynamics, with a main focus on Attitude Dynamics and Control of Space Systems.
GAUSS is a constant participant in this Conference series and it has been the Local Organizer of the second edition, DyCoss 2014, in Roma, Italy.
GAUSS President Filippo Graziani, having a profound experience as Professor of Astrodynamics, is part of the Program Committee, Co-Chair of the Conference and one of the international Keynote Speakers, giving a Highlight Lecture regarding GAUSS Activities on Attitude and Orbital Control Systems (PDF).
Moreover, Professor Graziani, as IAA Member and Trustee, during the Conference Opening Ceremony gives a Presentation of the International Academy of Astronautics (PDF) that is a Space pioneer on the vanguard of Space research.
